Rules & Safety

New Season, New Standards

Cruis’n PA is leveling up for 2026. To keep our runs smooth and our community safe, we’ve streamlined how we hit the road.

If you filled out a waiver last year, please use the new digital system and register again before your next drive.

01

Digital Check-In

No more paper waivers. We are moving to a quick QR-code waiver membership system so drivers can scan, sign, and get ready to roll.

02

Updated Guidelines

Safety protocols have been refreshed so everyone, from stock daily drivers to full builds, knows what to expect before the route starts.

03

Radio Channel 17

We are officially moving to radio Channel 17 for all runs. Bring a walkie-talkie and stay connected to the route, the leads, and any updates on the road.

Scan Before You Roll

Use the waiver QR and stay connected through the Facebook group.

Safety Reminders

These are the points we go over before we hit the road.

01

Walkie Talkies

We highly suggest everyone bring one. Lead, mid, caboose, and James all carry radios, and the club uses Channel 17.

02

Safety First

With traffic, stop lights, and large groups, stay alert and mindful of your surroundings at all times.

03

Different Skill Levels

Respect each other. Some drivers take turns faster, some slower. If a style is not working for you, move to another spot in line.

04

Leaving Early?

Let the leads know so nobody is counted missing. Use Channel 17, wave with your lights, or text James or Mallory.

05

Headlights On

Extra visibility means extra safety for you and the group.

06

Keep Stops Tight

Photo stops, mystery stops, and bathroom breaks should stay around 10 to 15 minutes so the group can finish the route together.

Driving Guidelines

Drive Smart. Drive Safe. Drive Together.

01

Pre-Run Prep

  • Fuel up and arrive with a full tank and a well-maintained vehicle.
  • Check in on time for the rundown and headcount.
  • Know the route, planned stops, and route map beforehand.
  • Check the weather. We do not run in heavy rain, snow, or icy conditions.

02

Disclaimer & Conduct

  • All participants are responsible for their own actions on the road.
  • Waivers must be signed before the event begins.
  • Dangerous driving means removal from future events.
  • Know and follow the rules of the road.
  • Be mindful of fellow drivers, surroundings, and local communities.
  • Photos and video are encouraged. Respect other vehicles and privacy.

03

Group Cruising Rules

  • Stick together and maintain your position unless directed otherwise.
  • Keep 2 to 3 seconds between you and the car in front.
  • Always use turn signals and hazard lights when needed.
  • Do not block intersections. If split, wait at the next safe pull-off.

04

If You Get Separated

  • Stay calm and do not speed to catch up.
  • Proceed safely to the next checkpoint or planned stop.
  • Call or text the group lead if something urgent comes up.

05

Emergency & Safety Protocol

  • Pull over safely and turn on hazard lights if there is an issue.
  • The sweep car or another member will stop to assist if it is safe.
  • Stay calm, polite, and cooperative with law enforcement.

06

Cruising Culture

  • No drama. Be cool, kind, and patient with all drivers.
  • Respect every ride, whether it is stock or modded.
  • Leave each stop better than you found it and respect local areas.
